Member Profiles

Sofie Narbed is Lecturer in Cultural Geography at Royal Holloway, University of London. She is interested in dance as a mode of relating to the world and to each other. In her work she thinks particularly about dance as a creative site for negotiating relations of de/coloniality, interculturality, and the politics of difference. She has researched and performed with dance artists in Quito and London, and is an active member of London Contact Improvisation.
