I'm a critical human geographer passionate about socio-environmental conflicts due to development/green/climate adaptation projects in the Global South, focusing on both urban and rural areas. Currently, I’m close to completing my doctoral research in Geography at Lancaster Environment Centre (LEC - Lancaster University). My research is focused on understanding the intersection between precarity, (climatic) disaster, urban resilience policy, and (in)justices in the contemporary wave of forced displacements in urban informal settlements in Brazil.
