Denisse Rodriguez Olivari is a doctoral candidate at Humboldt-Universität - Berlin Graduate School of Social Sciences funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) with studies at King’s College London. She holds a master in International Development with a specialisation in Politics and Governance from the University of Manchester – Global Development Institute. After obtaining her Bsc in Political Science and Government from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, she continued her studies at Sciences Po. She also completed a postgraduate certificate from the London School of Economics while participating in the Hansard Research Scholar Programme. Her doctoral project sheds light on the effects of judicialisation of grand-corruption works in the Lava Jato era in Peru and Brazil. Her research interests also include political parties and elections, governance and development and gender and politics.
