Member Profiles

I research memory and memorialisation of contemporary enforced disappearance in Mexico. I use methodologies with feminist and ethnographic sensibilities to explore ideas including how memory is part of environments, materiality and the process of making as re-humanising, and how relatives live among and follow the traces of their disappeared. I am reaching completion of an ESRC funded PhD in collaboration with the International Commission for Missing Persons (ICMP).
